Swamy-Daily Sevas



  WORSHIPS CONDUCTED TO SWAMY IN ANANDA NILAYA(THE PLACE OF BLESS)
 The Darshan of the Swamy is equal to great wealth.Watching the worships conducted to him is still greater luck.Authorities of T.T.D are providing this great chance to the devotees.Devotees can take part in the services to god by buying the tickets.Let us know the services done to Swamy in the morning


Suprabhatham

 Among the daily worships or services,the first one is Suprabhatha seva.This Seva starts at 2.30 a.m..In this service slokas(poems) such as Suprabhatam,Prapathni and Mangalasasana are read.The Successors of Annamacharya sing the songs known as Anantha nama Sankeerthanasa which are written by Annamacharya.The darshan the devotees have at the time of this service is called Suprabhatha darshan

  This darshan is called universal darshan.This service is conducted from 2.30 am to 3.00 am.

Thomala Seva

 After Suprabhatha Service Thomala Seva (service with flowers) is conducted from 3.30 am to 3.45 am on all the days in a week except Friday,Saturday and Sunday.Devotees can see the Swamy who is decorated with beauthyfully and wonderfully with  flowers.A Tamil  word Thindittamalai was shortened to Thomala Seva,Thomala means offerings of flowers to Swamy

  The flower garlands offered to Swamy are made in Yamanatoral.This place is called poolaara(room for flowers)The flower garlands offered to Swamy would have certain length and weight according Sastras.According to them only.the garlands were made.The main preists of the temple take these garlands from Yamanotarai in a procession amidist the ringing of bells to Swamy and decorate them.At last,light which is called Nakshtra harathi is given to Swamy,the scared water is spinked on Swamy,and the Swamy is comforted by natural fans.Thus all the things are offered to Swamy.All this programme conducted by vykhanasa preists according to Swamy`s desire


Sahastra Namarchana
(chanting of thousand names of Swamy ) this is conducted from 4.30 am to 4.45 am,This is conducted in all days in a week,except Friday,Saturday,Sunday and Monday,The chanting of hyms that is archana is the first one conducted for Swamy

Darshan after Archana

 This service which is important among the services conducted to Swamy is conducted from 4.30 am to 5.30 am. On Friday the devotees can have the darshan of the real feet of Swamy

Kalyanostavam(The wedding celebration)

Wedding is conducted for,the Celebration statues of Malayppa Swamy and his Godess Sridevi and Bhudevi.This program is conducted from 10.00 am to 12 pm.This was first started by Tallapaka Annamacharya.The Successor of Annamacharya only take part in this Pooja as Kanyadaatas(those who give bride to bridegroom)in this worship which was started in 15th century

Arjitha Brahmotsavam
After the wedding celebrations,this is the daily Brahmostavam conducted inside the temple,the celebrations statue of the Malayappa Swamy and his two Goddesees are worshipped in the wedding vehicle with vedic hymn and taken in procession on the vehicles of big snakes,Silver eagle and Hanumantha .This service is started at 2 pm

Dolostavam

(The Drum Celebration) this is conducted in the mandapa which is made of glasses.This celebration is conducted to swamy at 3 pm along with his Goddess who are in  Oonjal service

Vasanthostavam

(celebration of Sprinking of coloured water)Special Worships are conducted to celebration statue in Ranganayaka Mandapa.This celebration is conducted at 3.30 pm

 Sahasra Deepalankara Seva

(The service with Thousand Lights) Thsi service is conducted in Koluvu Mandapam,which is infront of the main temple on the right hand side in a corner.This service starts at 5.30 pm amidist the brightness of the thousand lights.Sri Swamy along with his Goddess is decorated and taken in procession from the main temple.Service is done to these statues by seating them in a cradle and rocking the cradle by singing beautiful pslams

Ekthantha Seva

(Solitary Service Service to single statue of Swamy)Among the daily services conducted to Swamy,this is the last one.This service is also called Pavalimpu Seva(service done at the time of Swamy`s relaxing on the bed)This service is done to prepare Swamy for sleep.Srinivasa Murthy who is experiencing luxaries is  so journed to sleep.The successors of Tallapaka Annamacharya conducted this programme by singing rocking songs.At the time of worships,Harathi(divine light is shown to devotees .After this worship gold parches are closed upto the time of Suprabhatha

Koluvu

       This is the third puja among the worships that are conducted daily.Celebrations statues of Swamy are taken in procession to Snana Mandapa(bathing place)and according to punchange thithi,vara,nakshathra are anounced.Later Swamy is informed of the names of donors of meals and about the income and expenditure of the temple.Only the officials of the temple take part in this service.Others are not allowed in

Amanthranotsava

Special pujas are conducted to celebration statues a midst the enchanting of vedic hymn .Devotees can see Thomala and Archana Service in it

Nivedana(Dedication) The Prasadam which is made and offered to God is called Nivedana.After Archana food items such as Laddu,Vada,Daddojanam,Pulihora,and Chakrapongali are offered to Swamy daily.This is the first Nivedana.The Nivedana which is done at noon time is the second one.Naivedyam(prasadam offered to God) is offered to God as the first bell is ringing

  At this time Naivedyam is offered to the statues of Viswaksena ,Garuda and others


Saththu Mora

 After reading Divya Bandaha Vaishavacharya dedicate this Prasada to Sri Ramanujacharya


THE WORSHIPS DONE ON SPECIAL DAYS

 Abhishekam (giving bath).This is conducted early in the morning on every Friday.A sacred bath is given to Swamy with sandal powder,camphar and milk,This programme is called Abhishekam.Later Tilaknama is kept on the forehead of the Swamy.vedas and prabandhas(sacred books) are read at this time.Gold image of Sri Maha Lakshmi Devi which is hanging from a gold chain on Venkateswara Chest is given a divine bath amidst the chanting of Sri Suktha.At last lighted camphor is offered .Later Swamy will be clad in silk clothes and valuable ornaments are put on by Swamy

Sacred sandal water which flows down from Swamy`s Statue after the Abhisheka is given to the devotees as theertha (drink) A few devotees only are allowed to this Abhisheka darshan

Sacred celebration

Sacred Punyahavachana is called Sacred celebration .Punyavaachana means Special pooja conducted to realise any mistakes committed during daily pooja.This celebration is cunducted every year in the month of August

Pushpa Yaga
(Worshipping with flowers) Worshipping Tirumalesha with different flowers which are fragrant is called Pushpa Yaga.This Pushpa Yaga is conducted on the day of Sravana nakshatram which come after Brahmotsavams

Sadalimpu Seva

(Ornaments removal service) it is conducted only on Thursday this is also called Thiruppaval Service.In this seva the ornaments which Swamy put on till the previous day are removed.Sri Swamy gives his darshan (make his appearance) with Dhovathi(towel)wom and arround waist uttareeyam( towel wom over shoulders)on even namas(vertical tilaks) are removed and thin long tilak is kept on Swamy`s forehead

Poolangi Seva(Decorating Swamy`s statue with flowers)

This service is conducted only on Thursday,Swamy`s life sixe statue is decorated with fragrant.beautifull flowers after Thursday`s worship and offering of food to Swamy.The most wonderful decoration of Swamy statue with flowers is called Poolangi Seva
